I was seven months pregnant when I married my best friend in June 2017. It was a crazy time planning the wedding. We didn't even have a date set until three months before! After visiting some flower shops and being underwhelmed by the products and overwhelmed by the prices, I simply decided to do it all myself.

Working with dried and preserved flowers was a natural choice because it afforded me the time to craft everything over a period of several weeks. It was still really stressful as I was still working full-time and sustaining a new life! During the process I discovered another bonus; dried and preserved flowers would make for long-lasting, beautiful keepsakes of my special day.

By the time everything was said and done, I managed to create something more wonderful than anything I could've bought. And now, I want to create something memorable and long-lasting for other people too!
